73 bags of cannabis seized in Osogbo

73 bags of cannabis have been seized in Osogbo, Osun State, by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, in a mop-up operation ahead of the 2019 general elections.

The exercise is targeted at dislodging black spots across the state where illicit drugs are likely to be abused.

The move will ensure a peaceful and secure environment for the conduct of the forthcoming elections. A suspect was arrested in connection with the seizure.
